Still going good

Well, today has been a good day so far. They finally came in and took out the iv that they had put in on Monday. Nothing had actually been hooked up to the iv so it was just an annoyance that was connected to my left hand/arm. Allison stayed with me again last night. I don't know about her but I know I slept very good. They are giving me ambien to sleep at night and it works wonders. After the first night of getting hardly any sleep I have opted for the sleeping pill ever since. Well, Allison had to leave around lunch today to make it home for her physical therapy on her foot. It hasn't been as bad as I thought being in the room alone. Now do not get me wrong I do not want to stay the entire time I am here alone but it isn't too bad for a few hours. Since she has left I havn't done too much. Since they did take out the iv I was able to take a good shower. Up until now I have had to wear a glove over the iv to take a shower. It has been difficult to wash my hair with a glove on one hand so the shower today felt extra good.

The doctor did come in today around lunch time and said everything was still looking okay. They are still keeping a good look on my blood pressure and the protein in my urine. They are also still looking at my blood sugar but everything seems to be going pretty well right now. My blood sugar was also good enough after eating lunch that I did not have to take the short acting insulin. This is the first meal that my blood sugar has been normal. That was a very positive thing for me. I don't think I have mentioned this before but they do weigh me morning to make sure that I am not retaining too many fluids. The thing is I have actually lost weight since I have been in here. I am down about 3.5 pounds since I entered the hospital. That puts the total pregnancy weight only up 10.5 pounds. That makes me really happy. As long as the doctors are okay with me loosing weight then I am very happy with loosing the weight. The less I gain the less I have to worry with after delivery. Well, that is all for now. I will update this later on tonight. Phillip will be here after he gets off of work and of course my dear parents will be up after they are off of work too.

Hollie,
We love you and are praying for you - every morning at Bible time and every night at supper and in bedtime prayers and every time I think of you - which is often! I'll keep up with you on this blog.

Love you!

I am so glad that you are at cmc-ne. Atleast with you there, I can come see you. I love you very much. I love Fee so very much too, and I am so thankful that I have both of you. I will be happy to spend the night with you. Let me know when you need me and I'll be there. Might be kinda cool cause I won't have to wake up so early to be at work!!!! I am going to have to bring Graham and Soph up to see you. Graham is VERY worried. He prays alot for the baby and you. Soph...well, Soph just wants to know if she can go buy something at the gift shop when we come see you. LOL!!! I have to work Sat and Sun so I think I'll bring them Mon or Tues. Ofcourse, I'll see you this weekend. I'll bring my lunch and eat with you in your room. Please, please, let me know when you need me to stay or if you need me to do something for you. I am at your disposal. By the way, I dreamed last night that Phillip brought the baby out to show us, and he had a monkey head. HAHAHAHA. Therefore, everything is going to be fine!! Ain't that funny? Love you! BEk
